How the scorecard works

Tap Goal for the team whose score goes up, even when the other team knocked it into its own net. Two halves; a draw is fine.

Crowdsourced, if you want it. Anyone connected to either team can keep score from their phone, so a game can have many scorekeepers. Their scorecards are compared, the score most of them agree on wins, and the coaches approve it.

Or skip it. Crowdsourcing is never required: a coach can simply enter the final score after the game.

Volunteer jobs to start with

Every new soccer league starts with these. Rename them, add your own, and ask for so many people per job on any game or event. Booster parents pick a job in the Player app.

  • Nets and corner flags. Putting up and taking down the goals and flags.
  • Concession stand. Selling snacks and drinks, and cleaning up after.
  • Tickets and gate. Selling or checking tickets at the entrance.
  • Parking directions. Showing cars where to park, before and after.
  • Security. Keeping an eye on the entrances and the crowd.
  • Setup and cleanup. Getting things ready before, and putting them away after.
  • Moving equipment. Carrying and loading gear, before and after.
  • Driving. Carpools and transportation. Say if you have a big vehicle.
  • Bringing food. Snacks, team meals, or a dish to share.

League options

Set once on the League rules page, and every team and game in the league plays by them.

  • Co-ed scoring: a "goal that counts double" button for leagues that use it
  • One Goal button per team: tap it for the team whose score goes up
  • Two halves; draws are fine

Who runs soccer leagues with us
